• Motenaï

Motenai started to compose electronic songs (without lyrics) inspired by Tujiko Noriko (mego, Tomlab), Lalipuna (Morr music), Nobukazu Takemura (Trill Jockey) and close to the music of Domotic (Active Suspension) since 2000.
In this cosy atmosphere, sounds of everyday life are torn to become a sweet and calm harmony.
Fragile melodies get tied, frayed and broken….

The sources of sounds and inspiration are numerous: keyboards and recordings of everyday sounds (jam jars, printers, plastic bags, sand, rocks, boxes of chocolate…) but far from becoming austere experimentations, they come together into modern atypical pop-songs.

Motenai seeks to create intimacy with his audience, surprising any listener in a quiet and comfortable atmosphere, like a long walk on a snowy day.
